And now, im extremely exhausted. I got only 8 hours of sleep last night (that's the min during sem break). The reason for this lack of sleep? First, I would like to take this opportunity to blame Milan; he and his fren was watching some joker on his comp loudly till 2 in the morning (luckily I had Just Like Heaven to watch). Secondly is Max. that stupid dog is so pampered that he needs air cond and nice bed as well as comforter that I had to wake up at 4 to open the room door he was scratching, and at 5, I had to wake again, smelling stinking odor, and when I turned my face, I encountered this furry creature that shocked the hell out of me. But then there he was (max), sleeping comfortably next to me on the bed and under the comforter!!!

About half an hour later, they left, leaving me home alone with Gina. Just as I was comfortably setting my cute butt on the sofa, grateful to god for finally giving me this calmly quiet surrounding for the next 2 weeks, unexpectedly, a monkey with big huge bushy hair starts jumping and doing strange stunts (dancing, that's what she calls it) around with some blasted song called 'dola re', so called to loose her 'spare tires'. And her name was, fats (Nisha), my babysitter for the next 2 weeks. And it seems Milan will do the same too...
Hmph..so much for my peaceful holiday..

Why are you unnecessarily worrying?
Whom do you fear?
Soul is neither born nor does it dies.
What has happened has happened for the best.
What is happening is happening for the best.
What will happen will happen for the best.
Do not brood over the past.
Do not worry about the future.
THE PRESENT IS ON.
What have you lost, that you are weeping?
What have you brought, that you have lost?
What have you made, that has been destroyed?
You brought nothing.
What you have, you got from here.
What you took, you took from here.
What you gave, you gave unto this universe.
You have come empty handed and shall go empty handed.
What is yours today was some body else's in the past and will besomebody else's in the future.
You think it is yours and are deeply engrossed in it.
"CHANGES" ARE THE LAW OF LIFE.

Then when we reached Rembau (that was on time), the bus driver stopped to repair the door (what a 'major' thing to do) and that's what took us 2 hours!! Selfish guy!! Couldn't wait till he dropped us home la. Idiot!! While waiting for this, I concluded three things between the major races in Malaysia; the Malays says 'pchik' and 'haihsh' every 5 mins, the Chinese gets phone calls all the time (volume: 5) and the Indians cant stop talking loudly. Gosh!! But then, lucky thing no one beat the hell out of the driver as we were all pissed!! So finally after 4 hours and 5 mins, I managed to get home safely...

So anyway after that as usual I went shopping (It's all coming back to me now-my shopping obsession. But not earrings. Only tops). What to do? They had sale everywhere. I felt like every shop had magnetic field that was pulling me into them. After that, I when to get fat by eating uncle 'Robbins' ice cream and finally here I am., boringly writing a post, waiting for a certain someone to come online..

Alrite. I just got back from watching Da Vinci's Code and here I am, writing one more of my 'off-track' movie review (ill try to be 'on-track' this time.) So here it goes..The movie started out quite well, similar to that described in the book-the old man running while Longdon giving a speech to the public. After that unfortunately, it was a little bit confusing since everything was revealed at the same ti
me, with lots of flash backs, and introduction of characters. The director tried featuring every single detail that was written in the book but has edited it to squeeze into 3hrs of the screening time, hence making it complicated for viewers who haven't read the book (and giving headache to those who have). Furthermore, some important clues and codes weren't that understandable; leading to a big question mark on audiences (even I had to reread them few times when I was reading the book to recognize it.) On the o
ther hand, besides these, the movie was set out smoothly, although it was slightly draggy at times. My favorite part was the ending of the movie. It was so beautifully set and it was obvious to all viewers on what was taking place. Each sentence of the poems were narrated one by one, until finally the truth was revealed.. (And I love those glass pyramids~entrance to Louvre museum!!)My suggestion to those who haven't read the book, please do so before watching the movie or your 12 bucks are going into the drain. And to those who have doubt to watch the movie-do it. Don't believe the critics. After all, the critics might not have read the book, so they don
't know shit on what was happening. I wouldn't say it was the best adaptation movie I've seen (I prefer Harry Potter), but ya, the director did a good job with the background and surroundings. U guys go ahead and watch it for yourself..

tTITANIC OR POSEIDON?? DO ALL SHIPS HAVE THE SAME ENDING??

I just watched this movie Poseidon yesterday and it reminded me exactly of titanic. The same glamorous sparkly boat, it sank the same way, the occupants in both the boats were running for life the same directions, and even the actresses in both the movies had the same hair style!! (although Emmy's was better thn kate's) The only difference was that the boat in Titanic got hit by an iceberg towards the end of the movie while in Poseidon; the boat was hit by a massive huge wave at the starting of the movie, turning the boat upside down. But whatever it is, it still sank only towards the end of the movie, just as what
happened in titanic.(but of course Titanic was better directed and set thn the other movie) Besides this, the only difference between the movies was the actors. In my opinion I would say that in titanic the actor (Leonardo) was just attractive, but in Poseidon, Lucas was extremely heart-melting-ly
gorgeous!! Oh god!! Those ocean-deep blue eyes of his, those strength he posses throughout the movie, and the romantic looks he gives to his heroin (wait a min, that was in Sweet Home Alabama) Woops,, but still, he is just so good-looking! I just cant stop dreaming bout him Hmm..Zzz… CiNeMa-CiNeMa-CiNeMa...

Tonight was the opening for Da Vinci's Code. I badly wanted to be the first to watch among my friends. Well put out of your mind about me watching tonight, I didn't even get tickets till this Friday. That too in the third row from the screen!! How devastating!!
Anyway, after a long miserable-leg-hurting queue, I finally got to the ticket counter. Gave her the movie's name, day and also the time and guess what? There wasn't any proper sits available!! Not for the two shows at 9.15 and neither for the next two shows at 9
.30 even though they were using the largest cinema halls available!! Can u believe this?? For God's sake even Harry Potter had better sits on the first day itself!! (I bought the tickets 2 days before too) the movie better be good!!So anyway, after negotiating the sittings, I gave her the number of tickets I wanted to buy and she looked at me shockingly. Shocking enough to give her a heart attack and suddenly staring at me inquiringly like as though I was buying those tickets for black market. I don't get it! Why are 20 tickets (10 for Fri and 10 for Sun) too much to ask??

Just imag
ine if I was born then and I was the only child to a chief warrior. Despite having unusual features (red hair, deep blue eyes) that separates me from the other girls (blonde or brunette, green/gray eyes) in my village, I still have courage and is way smarter than all the other girls around me (in short more extraordinary than them). I have a happy life, almost married to the love of my life (he will be one sweet, innocent boy-next-door type) who obviously was my childhood friend from before and he loves me more then anything in the world. Suddenly i'll get betrothed to a duke who is supposedly my dad's enemy (in force by the king because lost a land/v
illage)-handsome, gigantically tall, muscular and powerful! Even though I don't wish to be with him and hates him to hell, im still forced to and finally after 'falling' into his arms, I'll realize what love is all about (but he wouldn't at the start). My husband could be the greatest man (with lots of mistresses) but at the end he still falls into my charms and lastly, we would live happily ever after.. Hmm.. Now where can you find these kinds of men anymore? Those who loves you and only you unconditionally despite having everything.. haish.. Can I reborn on that year??

I went out with nads and Preethi to watch MI 3 yesterday. Even though I've never watched the earlier two, I would say that it was tremendously fantastic! Particularly since the gorgeous hunk, Tom Cruise was in it. I was never a fan of his as Ive always preferred Hindi movies and certain English comedy. At the moment he has just ranked himself into my top 5 favorite actor!! he is just so cute!!!
Neway, this was my first attempt for an action pack movie and the results were superb!! Now after watching this I feel like watching the other two. Guess ill just have to wait for Astro to air it. By the way, as I was busy focusing on everything in the movie (as everything was stunningly set), All of a sudden I discovered something that made me really proud; Malaysian Airlines billboard! I know it's stupid but hello!! How many times thin
gs like this involving Malaysia gets into international movies (besides Michelle Yeoh)? Above all a Hollywood movie which involves megastars like Tom cruise? So you see..isn't this a wonderful achievement..an impossible mission have just been accomplished.. Go Malaysia!! Oh im so proud of you!!
hOrRoR mOviE???
The sun was shining its ray intensely on us, pricking every little cell in the body. Roads were jam-packed with cars, with a great deal of honks and angry drivers. Pedestrians were walking quickly, banging into each other in the cramped road, each rushing to their particular direction. Everything seems to be normal, just like every other day in Pudu Street.
As we walked into Kota Raya, the surrounding changed. The lights were dim, the place was stuffy, the shops were close, and no individual was to be seen. As we walked deeper into the heart of Kota Raya, we saw few groups of people, and more shops were opening. The more we got into the building, searching for the specific shop which sold Korean Cd's, it became more obvious to us that those groups of people were all male, and foreigners! All staring and some were already following us. This panicked us and we started racing for the exit. As we increased the speed, turning into every corner that might lead us to the exit, more people stared at us, ready to 'attack' us. Finally, after a long complicated maze, we found the exit. We rushed out of the place, promising ourselves never to step into this horrifying place anymore..
A week later, we faced the same thing again. Only this time, it was in a different setting and surroundings. It was early in the morning when we entered Giant. The shops weren't open and so there wasn't any lighting. As we walked towards the ATM machine, which was the only thing lit in the place, we heard an unusual sound, scaring the hell out of us. The whole position we were in was like a horror movie. Only this was real!! Ignoring it, nads took out her money and we started towards the nearest entrance. Unfortunately the gateway was not open hence we went searching for another. Everything was so unusual and terrifying. The atmosphere was oddly gloomy and chill. Even the Indian cleaner's stare was creepy. All of a sudden, we heard footsteps behind us. Through the corner of my eyes I could see that nads was starting to get panic. Without glancing behind, we raced to the exit when finally, we saw some daylight. The more we trailed it, the brighter it got, until at last we were out in the open space. I was never that glad, seeing the brightness of the sun.
I don't know what it indicates by both nads and I going through 2 similar situations within a week but the superstitious side of me is convincing me that either
1) this world is going to be attacked by aliens (bcoz faced weird people) or
2) both nads and I are going to be approached by a horror movie director to act or
3) Maybe finally the Dark Age in our lives is coming to the end, with only brightness till the end of our lives..
I don't know which one but I do hope it's the last one :-)
FrIeNdS oR mArRy??
So anyway during lunch time, nads was as usual complaining about her friends were getting married and how lonely life would be after everyone got married especially since the next in line would be si farhana, followed by either shark or me and preets, leaving nads all alone in this cruel world.. (sob..sob..kesian dia..hehe).
That didn't really bother me as it was common for one to get married and get 'busy'. What somehow troubled me was that in two years time, I might need to leave these amazing friends to get on with my life. Not leave as in forget, but leave as in, not being able to do all this as frequently as in present days. We might be denying now and say things like 'we will be best of friends forever' and 'no matter what I will meet you every weekend' but believe it or not, that will never happen. Ive gone through that since I was in standard 6 and I know we can never be as close as we are now.
Later in life we will be so occupied with work and family that there will be limited time for ourselves, and finally, even if we meet, we'll only be able to summarize our stories of life, leaving out all the main things and most importantly, no more gossip!!! So finally it only leads to one thing, and that is don't get married!! Say no to married life!! Hehe… but girls, I want to promise one thing, and Ill try my best to keep it; when Ive already gotten married to anak jutawan, while busy bershopping in Avenue Street, ill never forget my base of shoppinging in streets, my Petaling Street gang. I promise nads!!...hehe
